Applications for
the Dental Hygiene Degree Completion Program are available for each term.

Dental Hygiene Program:
- Applications
available from October 8
to April 1
of the year preceding anticipated enrollment.
Dental Hygiene
Degree Completion Program:
- Applications should be submitted by June 15 for Autumn Quarter, September 15 for Winter Quarter, December 15 for Spring Quarter, and March 15 for Summer Quarter.

Dental
Hygiene Program:

grade-point hour ratio

of 45 hours of college level prerequisite course
work
Emphasis is placed upon interest in and knowledge
of the profession, motivation, commitment,
as well as interpersonal skills.
NOTE:
Applicants are expected to spend 20 hours
or more of observation in a dental office
to learn the role of the dental hygienist
before they apply. Students will benefit from
variety in the observation experiences. The
20 hours should include two or more dental hygienists
and be conducted in two or more dental practices.
