The
Entry-Level PharmD Program, which prepares students
for licensure as a pharmacist, is currently ranked fifth in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. A recent poll of practicing pharmacists ranked Ohio State's Pharmacy program third in the nation.
Applications for the Autumn 2010 ELPD Program will be available until December 1. The application process for all applicants is initiated through a centralized application service: PharmCAS - Pharmacy College Application Service. Submit an application to PharmCAS after August 1, but no later than December 1 of the year preceding anticipated enrollment. It is in the student's best interest to submit application materials early in order for the Admissions Committee to make a decision about an interview invitation. Admission to the ELPD program is competitive based on a faculty committee review of the following:

Prospective students should email the Professional Admissions Office at professional@osu.edu for course equivalency at other institutions or specific questions about Ohio State course work. **Grade-point averages - Data from the 2007 entering class show an average overall GPA of 3.50 and an average score of 83% on the PCAT. ***Completed bachelor's degree - Applicants are required to have completed a bachelor's degree prior to matriculation into the PharmD program. Because they are not required to have prior pharmacy education, any undergraduate major is acceptable as long as the prerequisites are met. COSTS / FEES / DEPOSITS CostsThese estimates are meant to provide a guideline for students enrolling in the 2009-2010 academic year. The estimated cost for the first three quarters includes these expenses:
*1. University tuition and fees includes general and instructional tuition; activity, COTA and recreation fees. *2. Books and miscellaneous: Students must procure the textbooks, uniforms, and instruments needed for their personal use in laboratories, dispensaries, and clinics. *3. Living expenses include housing, utilities, food, clothing, local transportation, and other miscellaneous expenses for 12 months. Application fee (non refundable)

International applicants from non-English speaking countries are required to fulfill the TOEFL, MELAB or IELTS requirement. If your native language is not English, you should possess a minimum level of English proficiency which is demonstrated by minimum scores as follows:
