IMMIGRATION

I HAVE AN H VISA. AM I CONSIDERED A "DOMESTIC STUDENT?"

No. You must use the international graduate application or international graduate non-degree application to be considered for admission. Also, you must meet the English language requirements for international students seeking enrollment at Ohio State. If you do not intend to change your visa from an H to an F or J visa, then you do not have to submit financial documents. If you have an H4 visa, and wish to obtain a graduate associateship; you will need to change your visa. If you have an H1, and wish to enroll full-time and quit your job; you will have to change your visa. You can find contact information for the Office of International Affairs; International Students and Scholars Office at http://oia.osu.edu/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=99&Itemid=140 for assistance with visa questions.
