Emily Elman

"My best experience through the Honors and Scholars program would be the London Honors trip during winter break of my freshman year. Twenty-five freshmen honors students took a class about London culture during Autumn Quarter, after which we toured all of the places we had studied. Not only was this an amazing experience abroad, but I made some of my closest friends and connections with faculty!"

"I decided to join International Affairs Scholars (IA) because I wanted the opportunity to live with other students who shared my interest in world cultures. I have made great friends through IA which has made my Ohio State experience an incredible one. It also provided me the opportunity to spend two weeks in Hong Kong and Southern China with my fellow IA scholars. It was the experience of a lifetime!"
